Broto Realm

Who are you?

I'm broto!

What's this?

Okay, I'll right a proper intro. Just this time.

So, hey! My name is Broto :]

Quick profile:

  • brazilian (very important)
  • self taught english (triggered by trying to play skyward sword on the wii as a kid and it not being translated)
  • allergic to peanuts
  • older zoomer
  • lazy ass "artist" (literally won't post any of it)
  • mentally distressed
  • pretends to be a goblin (I'm a vtuber on my free time)

*I promise I'll write a better one with time

What is this place?

A website. I promised myself I would be serious about this page.

It's a personal project! A little ~artistic endeavor\~ or mine.

A place to share my opinions, express myself and really just have a place to call my (virtual) home.

Why are you here and what are you doing?

My initial plan wasn't actually making a whole ass website from scratch, I was just looking for a place to write/blog.

I have been wanting to just have a place to share my thoughts more in depth for a while and, if I'm going to be honest, what I really wanted to do was to start a youtube channel. I wrote a few scripts, I even got to record and attempt to edit some stuff, but I got to the realization that it was just not worth it. It was too big of a project and instead of allowing me to create \*more* and actually put a project out there, it was holding me back.

I decided to start to write and then made some research on the best platform to do so. I was gonna go with tumblr, since I used to be there when I was younger and also it has a lot of customization options that platforms like blogger don't have.

Problem is that tumblr is just yet another social media and I'm trying to get away from social media. When you research a lot about alternatives for social media, social media detox, creative projects and whatnot, eventually you get to the indieweb and this is where I landed.

I already had an info Carrd that I made because of my vtuber shenanigans but was slowly turning it into something more personal and I really like this whole thing of having a place that FEELS like me.

So, that's why I'm here!
